Pakistan appeal
Monsoon rains have caused devastating floods in north-west Pakistan affecting 14 million people and leaving 1,600 dead.
In what has been described as the worst flooding to hit the country in 80 years, villages have been washed away and livelihoods destroyed. With a lack of clean water and sanitation, fears are growing that cholera and diarrhoea will spread.
MRDF has launched an urgent appeal to provide emergency relief to the affected areas in the form of food packages, temporary shelter and medical assistance.

Stop the dodgy deals
A British government department supports international trade deals that have led to human rights abuses and mounting debt in some of the world's poorest countries.
You can help put a stop to this.
MRDF’s partner Jubilee Debt Campaign is asking the secretary of state for Business, Vince Cable, to review the activities of this government department. Add your voice to the campaign by writing to Mr Cable so that dramatic reforms can take place.
