Wesley Road, Robin Hood’s Bay, Near Whitby, North Yorkshire.   Four self-contained flats, of varied size, within the grounds of Robin Hood’s Bay Methodist Church and within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, surrounded by moor land and fields on three sides and the sea on the other. Each flat is equipped with electric heating, cooker, microwave, etc. Bed linen is provided for the main beds and settee beds but guests are asked to bring their own towels, tea towels and linen for any extra z-beds that may be requested at the time of booking. A no smoking policy operates throughout the building but the centre is unable to accept pets. Standard bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Weekend or mid-week bookings may be available during off-peak periods, depending upon demand and subject to availability. A venue for Quiet Days and Retreats in this peaceful village, situated just off the A 1079 Hull to York road. The Chapel was built in 1840 and has recently been refurbished. Beside the attractive interior of the Chapel building there is an adjacent schoolroom with a modern kitchen and toilet facilities. There is disabled and wheelchair access. | IDEAL for DIY coffee and teas. Lunches can be provided (if required) |for groups of up to 25 in number. Parking is available on the green or in the Village Hall car park. The village is an ideal place for a gentle stroll or sitting in quiet places. The famous Bishop Burton College of Agriculture is situated just off the main road. Its wonderful gardens are open to visitors Monday to Friday during working hours.

WOLDS VALLEY METHODIST CHURCH Situated in the village of Weaverthorpe, on the beautiful North Wolds. Within fifteen miles of Scarborough, Malton and Driffield, this recently refurbished village chapel is an ideal venue for Quiet Days and Church Away Days. Comfortable and versatile seating, efficient heating, modern kitchen, full ac¬cess and toilet facilities for disabled people, and ample off road parking. The church is equipped with Bibles, hymn books and crockery, and may be booked for half or the full day at reasonable rates. BRIDLINGTON  This Centre is situated in the village of Haisthorpe on the A614 approx. 6 miles from Bridlington and is 200 yards off the main road where parking is available. This was originally a Primitive Methodist Church established in 1888 and has recently been refurbished to a high standard for flexible usage. Regular worship is held along with community activities which are being developed. The Church and schoolroom, with chairs and tables available, can be opened into one room. Both rooms have blackout facilities to aid the use of projectors and video equipment.The kitchen is equipped with cooker, microwave oven, fridge, water boiler, crockery and cutlery.  ..... There are toilet facilities for the disabled along with ramp access to the building. There is the opportunity for light meals to be provided by prior arrangements. The peaceful, rural setting, with affords opportunities for gentle strolls, and makes it an ideal venue for Retreat / Quiet Days etc

Southlands Methodist Church, Bishopthorpe Road York We can cater for upto 100 people, our usual menu is Ham and quiche salad served with hot new potatoes and bread bun, followed by a choice of fresh fruit salad or trifle, then home-made cakes, tea and coffee. The price is £6.00 per head. If another menu is required we are quite willing to provide alternatives either hot or cold at a price to be agreed.
